These terms apply when you use Story Animator, made by sjbuilds.dev ("we"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The service

Story Animator turns stories written as simple scenes into animated videos that play in your browser. It is free to use. Signing in lets you save stories. We may change, add or remove features, or pause the service, at any time.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Keep access to your email account safe, because anyone who can open your sign-in emails can reach your stories. One person per account, please.

Your stories and videos

You own the stories you write. You give us permission only to store them and show them back to you, which is what is needed to run the service. You may use the videos you make, including sharing them online and on social media.

The drawings, characters, animation, sounds, music, software and design of Story Animator remain ours, or belong to the open-source projects listed in our Credits. You may not copy or resell them apart from the videos you make with the site.

Acceptable use

Do not use Story Animator to:

• make content that is illegal, hateful, harassing or sexual involving minors, or that threatens or incites violence;
• impersonate real people or organisations in a misleading way, or infringe anyone else's rights;
• attack, overload, scrape or try to break into the service or other users' accounts;
• get around limits such as the number of saved stories.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without any warranty. We do our best to keep it working and your stories safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. Keep your own copy of anything important.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Story Animator. Because the service is free, our total liability to you is limited to ₹1,000.

Ending

You can stop using Story Animator at any time and delete your account yourself in My stories. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of India. If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top; continuing to use the site means you accept the new terms.
